	Entry Comments: We decided to replace our garage doors for energy efficiency, with an emphasis on R-Value, Colonial style with windows for additional lighting, dent resistant, government tax credit, rebate, price, and the reputation of a garage door manufacturer. Clopay offered their 9200 Elegant Short Series, with three-layer construction, in white with Colonial windows and everything I mentioned in the first paragraph. The result is night and day. When I checked the thermometer in our garage the temperature was 63 degrees in our garage at 6:30am and outside 21 degrees, with a wind chill making it feel like 9 degrees. We continue to maintain 63 degrees in our garage. We purchased our new garage doors from Builders Overhead Door Service, Inc. of Blue Springs, Missouri (816-229-2330) because of their price.

	Entry Comments: A previous owner knocked the end out of our brick milk house for use as a garage. For many years we fastened a tarp across the opening to hide the hole and protect the contents from the elements. The tarp would only last a few years before being shredded by the wind against the brick. We have enclosed the milk house using vintage brick salvaged from a local building being torn down. We've chosen a carriage house style door to compliment our 1860's brick Victorian house. The door was purchased from and installed by Buffalo Valley Door Service (570-966-4064)
