Clopay’s Grand Harbor Collection carriage house door is now available with built-in WINDCODE® reinforcement up to a level W-6 on Clopay’s rating scale. As is the case on all Clopay WINDCODE products, the door arrives storm-ready and requires no add-on supports to secure it. Reinforcement is contained within the structure of the door and is engaged by simply locking it, a timesaving convenience in the event of a sudden evacuation notice. This type of door is particularly beneficial to vacation home and rental property owners because they have peace of mind knowing that the door is secure as long as it’s locked.
Clopay introduced the 2” thick, 24-gauge steel Grand Harbor Collection as an attractive, affordable carriage house solution for the builder market. It is available in either single-layer or two-layer construction with 1 5/8” polystyrene insulation and a vinyl backer. A ½” UV resistant composite overlay with square edging creates the classic carriage house effect.
Two series featuring five base door designs are offered in a variety of sizes from 6’6” to 12’ high, and up to 18’ wide in white, almond and sandtone. They can also be painted.
The doors can be further customized by adding arched, square or rectangular windows, Clopay’s Old World European style wrought iron windows or the new “faux window,” which consists of a solid gray steel base with snap-in grilles for added privacy and security. Decorative iron hardware is also included.
